I agree but the three clubs mentioned will all be a force next season and more importantly Saints and Warrington have not sat back and have refreshed their already strong squads. I expect Huddersfield will do the same on the back of a strong season finish which will make it easier for them to attract players. We are nowhere near the current top four and when you factor in a resurgent Catalan,Huddersfield and Wakefield i think we are in for a poor 2019 even with a fit squad. Another heavy defeat looming at Huddersfield and Adam Pearson will lose his patience and we will see some changes. Dont think adding Gaz Ellis to the current coaching set up will solve any of our current playing style and handling problems

Yes sorry forgot Warrington. I think that without an upgrade in playing quality our coaching set up has reached a ceiling with what they can achieve. Not bothered what nationality our coach would be I just want to see an improvement in our structures and someone who can inspire the team to give that little bit extra. Woolford this season being a prime example of that.

Radford steadied the ship, improved personel, won us back to back back CCs but has also overseen two poor seasons, two seasons where weve fallen apart at the business end of the season and now this season which has been awful and - weve played poorly to average for 90% of it and without Ellis, Watts and Fonua were just plain average and back to the form of Radfords first two seasons. Time to move on, thanks for the memories Lee but in order for us to move on then a big decision is needed, failure to do that will see us move further behind the top four and it will be another chance of becoming champions gone though tbh i think that went last season

As you well know I’m undecided on LR as yet I’m not ready to come out

Radford OUT!
The back to back CC’s papered over the cracks that were always there and have never been fixed. For whatever reason we can put in half hearted displays, that been historically evident and remains. But without replacing the likes of Watts and Ellis left us light. Do we believe our youngsters can step up? I don’t see it. I might be wrong but it’ll take some time. Presently it’s not obvious. We lack ball speed, we are predictable and there is no leadership. Taylor is trying to do too much and at times Houghton looks knackered and or disinterested. When cannot tell how we will do next season until we get our full squad back and fully fit. The issue will be who we play were, whether we can keep Kelly interested and whether we can change our game plan to suit.
