Sky choose the games they want to show. Why would they want to showcase a game which has the potential to be a walk over as one team will have been giving their all in a cup final 5 days before whilst the other was guaranteed a significant amount of recovery and preparation time. Hardly the prospect of a great sporting spectacle.
If they really wanted to screen the Leeds v Hull game, they could easily have made it the Friday evening or even Saturday afternoon game.
I'm not winding anyone up, just don't see the point in moaning about something we can't change. If people feel so strongly don't go to the game and cancel the Sky subscription.

Whats the point of a DISCUSSION forum?
Do you ever bemoan the ref? You cannot change a decision either, but I can imagine you are the first to complain about a poor decision.

Imagine based on what?
Anyway, no need for this to descend into insults, when the referee has a bad game it impacts the result, I don't dislike their decision because I don't share it, it's because the facts prove the opinion. In this case, the facts are that Sky "own" the scheduling.

No one is moaning about it from what I can see so stop being so judgemental and assuming. People, myself included have simply questioned the stupid decision by the RFL and Sky to sanction a SL tie between a team that will have contested a Cup Final 4 days earlier. This in my mind is not the best way to promote the sport or thinking of player welfare.
As MMJ has said its a discussion forum and that's what people are doing..... DISCUSSING the issue, quite why you think people who are questioning this fixture shouldn't go and then cancel sky subscriptions just sums you up.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

based on the fact that just about 100% of fans I know would vent their fury at a poor refereeing decision, yet it doesn't change that decision.

"Sums you up", I'm simply saying if you don't like something, vote with your feet. Anyway, not long until Hudds and then the final, let's focus on that eh?

What's the point, we can't change the line up, the ref, how we play, the result, so why discuss it?
