Cas have sold out their ticket allocation according to the club on Twitter

The referee's indecision is final

You'll never see a game in which "conditions were the leveler" applies more. Seriously...crap boggy pitch and heavy winds really dragged Cas down to KRs level.

No Lynch & Massey that game and then losing Shenton early messed the sub rotations up didn't help either.

Diablo1967 wrote:No Carney this year, no Shenton, Sneyd or Finn. I think we will win this quite easily.

Monaghan is better than Carney in defence, Finn is garbage and hardly played the second half of last season (and are you really suggesting Ben Roberts isn't as good as Liam Finn?) and Cas haven't had Sneyd for well over a year (not to mention Gale is better) so I don't get your points there...at all.

Diablo1967 wrote:Ben Crooks is a dreadful defender close to the line. His saving grace during his SHORT tenure in the first team was Lineham. Once Lineham got his injuries, Crooks was found out and was dropped very quickly. Just bomb the hell out of him.

Bombing Crooks means kicking it down Monaghan's side of the pitch, if Crooks can be isolated then sure that does sound like a good plan but kicks aren't going to be 100% accurate every time.

Personally...think there will be no more than 10 points in it either way. It might even come down to who Hicks lets spoil the game at the PTB more.

We beat them twice at the kc last year with a weaker team so no reason to doubt we can win this if we're up for it. Won't be easy but it would be very disappointing if we lose this one

least you give Cas some credit by saying it will not be easy unlike a lot of blinkered a Hull fans who think we're just going there and role over to Hull and DP loves challenges like these.

It's Hull's to lose I think with home advantage. If it were at wheldon road I'd probably have Hull slight favourites with us having more speccies there than cas

When you wake up on Friday morning you're going to know why. (Not slating Cas - just believing in the new FC BTW)

You said a few weeks ago that we'd finish 7th or 8th and it would be very difficult to finish above Cas. Not sure why this is now seen as a gimme tbh in that context?

I don't think any fan has said that about Cas, the most I have seen is a fan suggesting we will win by 18, considering we won by more than that in the cup last year, with a much worst side, is there prediction that unrealistic?

I think it will be close as I don't see much on paper between the two sides, think form and being at home will see us through just
