You make a habbit of that, you said signing Naughton was a mistake that would "bite us" and that we didn't need him nor Pryce.

Wow some win that, never saw that coming. I was out in Leeds, my face must of been a picture when I checked the score at 21:45. Hopefully the Rhino's well send over a youth team next week, saving the big guns for the Cup Final. Still not convinced with this Super 8's lark but 6th place looks doable.

Well we still have to go to Wire and from what I've seen of them, I believe we're more than capable of getting the points. I also think we can beat the Giants and Catalan at home so there's still plenty to play for. More performances like last night and one of two of the doubters might return.

Indeed. My only concern being, that we tend to reserve performances like this for away games. Good job we got four of 'em.
Well what a win ,at one point I thought I don't care if we don't go on to get the win the enthusiasm and effort shown was the best shown all season that's all we ask for,the touch rugby shackles off rugby paid off ,we must of completed more offloads than all season put together ,then we get the win was worth the diversion on the way home well done all come on you ull!
So we dont produce youngsters eh!!!! I think the ones that played last night have proved we have kids with plenty of potential. Perhaps if we gave odd ones a chance now and then they may develop instead of putting them in as a last resort but what the hell do we supporters know.

An interesting comment and makes me remember a conversation I had before the Wigan under 19's game with a senior member of our Coaching staff who unofficially lamented the demise of our Under 19's and the new Academy stuff. His comment was that Wigan and Leeds have had around 8 years at the level we are at to hone their operation while we have had just two years at Bishop Burton. He said there are already signs of some great talent emerging, as good as we have produced for years (his words not mine) but its too early to judge the set up now. I know that our youngsters are supposedly ring fenced for 5 years or so but I get his point and we had some fine young players on show last night the for me the new system simply hasn't been given the chance!
