a) is speculation I don't see a huge issue with, personally, b) I didn't like that either, actually. The most disappointing thing in the whole mess, though, is that we've got fans feeling so down that they are starting to question things like this.
And this is actually what I consider to be the obvious implication from Sebasteeno's point. That if we were doing well, this is what our players would be doing, declaring themselves fit when they shouldn't, or going beyond the call of duty in attempts to get fit. IF they are not (and I'm not even agreeing with him that that is the case - in fact I think he's wrong), it doesn't necessarily mean that they are swinging the lead. It could be a fragile state of mind meaning that they are more fearful of little niggles affecting performance, the way lack of confidence causes you to doubt yourself and overanalyse every little thing.
I'd agree it would be an insult, but I disagree it's quite what has been suggested, most of that has been down to how you've interpreted it. I also think it's very questionable for you to take such issue with it after spending several weeks doing the same thing to another team's fans.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree. IMO implying players could play but are choosing not to is a sleight on their integrity. You think otherwise, which is fine. I'm not sure what the hypocrisy charge is here though. Ben Cockayne gives FC fans the finger in Cardiff and we're outraged. Jordan Rankin delivers over-exuberant celebration and we love it.

Anyhoo...
The Wigan game. Not looking great if the worst case scenario with player availability comes to pass. Not looking that great anyway given our record at the DW. Two teams desperate for a win, both with injuries, one with home advantage...
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

Fair enough.

The hypocrisy is when you're condemning the insult of implying players are choosing not to play, whilst you've spent several weeks doing the same thing regarding Bailey. If it's such an insulting thing to question a player's integrity as to provoke the reaction you've displayed in this thread, I'm not seeing why it's OK if they don't play for your team.
And any player giving any fans the finger is unacceptable, I wouldn't care who it was.

Desperately need bodies back in the pack, is the presser tomorrow? Although as mentioned by one of the journos on Twitter, every 17 at the weekend had a player not in the 19, so fair to say we won't know until 7pm Friday.

Back on topic, Wigan. Hoping for some better injury news this week. Is O'Loughlin back?
Having looked through various forums Mrs Barista it seems only you, yes only you, are remotely bothered about what Rob Crossland has tweeted, or not tweeted , as the case may or may not be. Understandably you try to switch to focusing on HKR, presumably it makes you feel 'better' when the focused is elsewhere. By the way, in your defence I find it quite unacceptable you have been termed the sad queen bee by hull fan(s).....indeed I find a praying mantis more in keeping. Anyway on to Wigan. I reckon it's 50/50, two teams coming off heavy defeats and both with injuries...and both with fans thinking the other side will win.

You say a player never misses a game with a "mystery" injury, yet you spend a bit of time picking on poor Ryan Bailey and his "ailments"

Wrong, according to League Express, Rovers, Cats, Wigan, Wakey, Saints, Udders, Widnes, Leeds all had the 17 from the 19
It'd be easier for me to type Wire, Salford, Cas, and FC fielded players not in the 19

You should have given up twitter for Lent
I think it was this guy I was referencing @garethwalker13: Genuine question. Given that almost every match now has a player involved that wasn't in 19-man squad, is there any point to them any more?
