I've no problem with Griifin or Taylor staying next season, as long as they have a positive attitude (I don't know if they didn't last season), put effort when on the pitch and aren't guaranteed a starting spot on reputation alone.
I'd rather just get rid and save the money if nothings out there, they're causing too many problems at the club and they need to be gone otherwise they'll just upset the dynamic next year.

Griffin is the one that told Hodgson to F off in training after being asked to do something he didnt want to do - walked off the training pitch - so he would be first out.
Not sure what is written in players contracts etc but surely behaviour like that is grounds for dismissal or at least a written warning about future conduct.
I know it can’t be as easy as that but players shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it?

Taylor yes, as we'd be short at prop if he left. Griffin I'm not so sure tbh. We're pretty well covered at centre with Carlos, Sutcliffe, Mitch, Wynne and Scott and I've never thought he's been particularly effective in the 2nd row so any wages saved could go towards a replacement for Ma'u.
If they stay then hopefully a new coaching staff can revitalise them as they were good players in recent past. That said if any of these rumours are true they should be shown the door but I'll give the benefit of the doubt for now as 99% of rumours are rubbish.

There was an an article about him in yesterday's HDM. Craig Harrison saying he will land another super league club simply because of the money he asks for and how professional he is.
Wouldn't be any worse than Taylor on his past 2 seasons form
hes the same as taylor not brilliant but a trier and thats all you can ask, regarding the coach shaun wane in hull for interview so smith not cut and dried, maybe just a rumour
