As for Rovers they unforunately look good but i'll reserve judgement til theyve played one of the top teams before worrying too much. Leeds look very mid table with only a bit of magic from Croft lifting them above the bottom teams.
Good effort from London getting over 5k for their first home game, hopefully they can keep attendances high throughout the season but might be hard to do if they keep getting beaten at home - might get their first win on 11 May.

Can I go back in time but have a fibre broadband and SL+ in 2006 please
Yes you can trust the RFL to well and truly mess things up every time there's something good for the sport. IMG probably can't believe what they're seeing...all their hard work undone so quickly

No way will Rovers finish top 2, had unbelievable amount of luck first two games.
Although they did beat Wigan, Saints and Penrity to sign Ben Reynolds.

Imagine being a young half at Rovers.
Tough on their young half Ellis. They've paid a "significant fee" for somebody as poor as Ben Reynolds when they had a young home grown kid waiting to show what he can do. Maybe he's just not that good, but either way it would feel like a massive kick going down the route they have.

In the last 5 years rovers have probably had the least amount of academy players in their match day 17 with the least amount of overall minutes in the whole league, I'd be very surprised if there was anyone else who neglected their academy as much as them.

Ellis is probably at the same stage in his career as Jack Charles is at, showing signs of promise but probably not physically ready for SL. And after Abdull needed to go we obviously needed cover for this season, not a young kid who probably won't be ready for another couple of years.
