All Cas seem to have to do is keep Swift covered as there little or no tracking threat. Our end of sets once again p!5s poor and non existent regardless of who is playing.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

To be honest I think that’ll be the same for many. I nearly did that for this season but the arrival of Smith gave me some hope.

Smith currently doing a worse job than Hodgson last year in terms of super league points, can't see us beating hudds or saints either in the last two games, uninspiring recruitment for next season, things currently aren't looking great

After another false dawn I'm satisfied we are bottom feeders.
If I hear “in Tony we trust” one more time I will be violently sick. Trust is an earned privilege, it’s generated. I have seen nothing this season that suggests an upward trajectory and that includes recruitment.
It’s not that I don’t trust Tony, but we have systemic problems, be it finance, culture or both.
I also don’t swallow a “multi year” rebuild. Leigh and Salford have proven that one off-season can bare fruit. Perhaps they “punch above their weight”
But that’s the hall mark of something good.
We punch below our weight. We’ve not had injuries or absences that are significantly worse then others, yet here we wallow, again.
Good post this Carl, can't argue with anyone if it.
We have to show improvements over a full season next year.Smith needs a big year, but needs to be backed by Pearson, which I don't think will happen.

Hodgson was backed by Pearson, who gave up on this season ages ago.

Im not so doom and gloom about next years signings, I think some fresh younger players will do some good and if the high number of departures doesnt alter the culture then nothing will.

Absolute joke and simply no excuses. Seems the club as a whole has learned nothing from the previous seasons and implosions.
It’s been clear the club gave up the season when they let Evans go without bringing in any replacement of any sort, further evident in letting Griffin go.
Bitterly disappointed that even under Smith we have continued selecting the same players that just haven’t performed.
Think the damage to memberships next season after another very poor end of season will be telling come next season.
There’s very little the club can do now to make it an attractive proposition for fans next season. It’s not like they are going to reveal any blockbuster signings now for next year.
The only hope for next season I have is that the mass exodus finally gets rid of the downing tools attitude bit right now it’s a faint hope. .
