Results quite good for us today IMO. Cas look certainties for LLS, so making up two points on Salford probably not a bad thing. Credit to Wakefield though, that's some win - Chester is working his squad, the cheapest in the comp apparently, brilliantly to say they have some injuries to key players.
An 8 point gap now to 9th assuming Hudds win their game in hand v Saints. Need to get some bodies back as there are no easy games in the remaining 6 with Hudds hammering Wire.
chester showing what a good coach he is now he doesn't have a chairman and a football manager making his decisions for him

If Widnes and Hudds make the top 8 they've got to take a lot of points off teams around us, we won't be down there. I know we're 9 points clear and I've not done the math but I wonder if it's even possible given that every week 6 teams have to lose.
We're safe in the top 8's but with a really tough run in we need some players back, some consistency and to stay relatively injury free if we're to be in with a shout of top 4 at the split. Looking at the fixtures we could win all of the remaining ones or lose them all depending on whether we improve our ball control, discipline and defence

Well, our discipline at least was better yesterday. We need to get three of our first choice props back, plus our captain, and Dream Team winger. As others have said if we were able to scrape through the next few and be in the mix, in theory we'd then have a fresher squad than last year as we've had big players like Houghton, Ellis, Talanoa, Watts etc missing big chunks already. I think Connor is proving to be a really valuable player for us too - I can see why Huddersfield got into a scrap with us over him. With Sneyd out long term his contribution could be crucial.

connor and kelly both look to be one decent hit away from missing games through injury
I remember some people doubting the signing of Connor when we did. I remember saying to people that he'd be an automatic name in the 17 by the end of the season. Liked him at Giants, like what I've seen in the black and white and think there's a lot more to come yet.
