I know it's election time Phil, but look at it from another viewpoint if you are so able. There have been incremental erosions of FC's tenancy for a few years now. Hull Wasps IIRC were priced out of the arena ages ago. Perception which arguably may be totally flawed is that the council have let this go as it's been small scale and not worth the hassle of taking on a loud, dangerous (but generous Labour Party) benefactor over.. The court of public opinion might be your tipping point for action, but surely doing what's right and not easy should be the primary trigger.
We're hugely grateful for your support clearly, but your pitch about not taking it lying down as if there would be something over and above your responsibility to deal appropriately with public asset custodianship and compliance enforcement is a bit weird. If you're fulfilling this role, great. I look forward to the enforcement stage. With the sale of Ferriby and rumoured calling-in of other loans, the ante against Hull sport in its broadest sense is being upped on an hourly basis. Whilst the council 100% played a blinder in not gifting him the stadium, the question may still be asked as to whether this could have been avoided with earlier action.

Phil,
After listening to the interview of Cllr Brady, he seemed to be apprehensive regarding the cost of an injunction served to the Allams.
I hope, I speak for the majority of the citizens of Hull that irrespective of cost, the Council will serve an injunction.
If the Council fail in this matter, the Allam's will see it as carte blanche to do as they wish, as a Hull FC supporter, it is indeed nervous times.

While discussion of the Council's role in this (both past and current) is perfectly valid I'd appreciate it if said discussion could be kept non-confrontational. Similarly, the usual cross-city sniping has no place in this thread. We are all trying to pull in the same direction here after all.
Thanks.

I back the Council 100%.
I think the time for an injunction is probably past. If, as it seems, the Allams are now in clear breach of their lease obligations then there are other avenues to pursue.

What would other avenues be? No idea what options are open.

It isnt really, its great that this is coming to a head and lots of others are seeing Allem for what he really is and it also seems his step too far with Airco could be great in terms of him losing the SMC. And all this when city are possibly six games away from relegation. He really is tapped in the head
