If the money was right yeh, no doubt hull would pay any rental costs, if they don't like it, don't sign them, cant make us any worst, but may improve us, like someone else said , not really worth debating, just my opinion on it

AP "LR has done a lot of great work behind the scenes" cause it must be quite difficult to get a squad filled with decent players to get beat every week, now that takes real planning

Sorry, my comment about where the players lived had taken this off on an unhelpful tangent. I only raised that accident as it highlighted how many players we have living elsewhere. Of course people commute every day, I used to do sheffield to Derby myself down a horrible bit of the M1. But that's for a job, and that's what I'm saying. Laying your body on the line for a club every week isn't a job, it's much more than that. You've got to be more desperate to win than the unit running straight at you. Making players move here would require that extra bit of commitment we seem to be lacking. To me it looks like they turn up, earn their excellent (relative to other clubs) money and go home again and the result and their performances don't effect that. They also avoid things like doing the weekly shop surrounded by Hull fans which, after four or five straight defeats, may be a little motivator for them.

Anyway it was a tiny aspect on a wider point about the poor culture at our club. Sorry it got the thread bogged down.

If there was say a rule in place that players were to be in Hull by say lunchtime/early afternoon on match days (based on a Friday 8pm kick off) then not only would they avoid the potential risk of getting caught in an accident close to kick off but they would also have plenty of time to still get to Hull in time for kick off if an accident occurred earlier on in the day.

Was not that the problem they left early and got caught up in it if left 2/3 hours latter would of got here via diversion.
