I used to stand in there when I was a little 'un with my dad in the early 90's. certainly a few characters in there! Anyone remember a guy called Mad Dog? There was also a guy my dad knew who he referred to as 'Big Bob', still see him now and again at games, and his missus who was scarier than him.
Remember a lady too, who must have been way below 5 foot tall. She must to stand on the concrete ledge thing right at the front. Still see her too now and again.
Funny what you remember.
Just remembered that elderly couple who used to get a flask of tea out at half time and rest it on the bars.
My favourite half time entertainment in the 3d stand was to tear up my golden gamble ticket, screw it up into several little balls and take aim at the mugs of tea down below. How we would chuckle to see the recipient spin around and try to figure out where it had come from.

That was ace.. remember that well. Oh how we cheered when we got a hole in one !!. And who was the guy from the Hull Supporters or Black & White society, who went on the pitch at half time, when they sponsored a game?... we would all start to sing " AH, AH , AH , AH, STAYING ALIVE, STAYING ALIVE" ???

quality. That is Dave "Bingo" Bingham, still on the balck and whites and does not miss a game home or away. I know him pretty well and will have to remind him of the entertainment he provided for people without realising it.
Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?
Not a 3d character as such, but got to mention Mark Denman.Mark was definitely a larger than life character who normally watched games from the Airlie St end in the corner.Great character and a heart as big as a lions.Mark would do anything for his friends and I for one miss the big guy.
I know he will be watching from above and cheering on the Black n Whites.

Seconded, so many things still don't feel right without the big fella.
