Another disappointing end to another mediocre season. Barring a spell of 6-7 games, I’ve seen nothing to suggest that we are any better off than the last five years. Obviously happy to give Tony more time, just struggle to share the optimism for next season that others appear to have.

One positive is next years signings are younger, RL is increasingly a younger players game and our bad signings over the last few years have usually been the 30+ players.
Things will take time its like turning around an oil tanker. One more failed rebuild and the fans will turn on Pearson though.
I think we should play Taylor Satae and Swift so we can say goodbye. Clifford should be playing so we can thank him for his performances albeit for a short time. Balmforth should be reminded of first team standards by playing- he can shape up then for next season. Among these essentially experienced guys perhaps a few of the likely first teamers coming up from the youth could appear. Or are the reserves playing in which case forget the latter? A loss doesn’t matter a performance does!

I agree to an extent, but we would not benefit at all from a defeat, even less a heavy one, so for me we play the best 17 we can muster, it is important not to dispel any optimism and enthusiasm we as supporters have gleaned from a bad season. If we compete manfully and play to the last whistle, it will at least, show we are past the days of horrible blow out defeats, that we would certainly have endured in seasons gone.

If he doesnt give Balmforth a run off the bench then Smith has lost the plot. Also for next season we could link up with Doncaster once again if they get promotion back to the Championship.Much easier for the player to travel
FC win Clifford to score. Roll on 2024 I have never been so fed up watching FC as this season, the low point being the home Derby and Whinos away. Walked away that night absolutely drenched and depressed. Season ticket holder travelling from Leeds for home games, this is the least I have ever been to. Hoping to get my mojo back this winter, the last 6 season have worn me down.

It is those kind of messages that the boardroom of the club need to be reading. We stuck with them through some proper 5hit times, hammerings, false promises, Covid and the apparent resurgence.....and we are still 10th. Next season will be important as to whether I continue to spend money on season passes
Not just a season ticket, £180 parking pass, home & away shirt, hoodie, beer and food every home game, It sure adds up. But as with anything its a personal choice.
