James Clark is a decent bloke and his heart is in the right place and certainly in Hull FC. Many people put in his position would have left ages ago.

His player selection and recruitment duties are confined to securing the players the Coach wants to sign once Adam has agreed that we can afford them that can often be a long and involved process in itself. He doesn't pick who we sign.

He has as has been said numerous duties, including heading up all the commercial strands of the Club including sponsorship and merchandising , plus the publicity, image and on line presence of the club. In his 'spare time' he also manages all the clubs staff, supporter interfaces and liaison with the RFL and he heads up all their special projects such as the new facilities at the University. As has been said above his duties are probably too numerous, because the Club does not spend enough on off field commercial and administrative staff and Clarky has to shoulder heading up all these areas, the reason is basically because the club's financial resources are finite and the tragedy at present is that Adam would tell you as he has told me, that he spends everything he can afford on the playing side and ensuring the players have everything they require. how ironic is that at present !!

Everyone can improve themselves and should not be judged by their previous and original careers if they are to be Billy/Kieth should consider the fact that his club is being run by a failed Ice Rink Manager.
