Arguably in the form of his career for Leeds.
Think he'll be a good pick up and brings competition for places at centre and backrow.
Hopefully we can get Walker and Longstaff here permanently too.
If he is in the form of his career then why is Smith letting him go? rollin thunder wrote: Nene Mcdonald from Leigh seems a goer, if so almost certainly the end for Sutcliffe. It seems more and more likely that RS does not want Sutcliffe for next season and is free to leave early.
Nene McDonald would certainly be an upgrade to Sutcliffe, who has been a good servant to Leeds, but is the weakest player in our first choice 17

I think it was Mild Rover who made a valid point on professional players changing clubs, breathing new life into their careers, what would people say about the recent halfback signing Smith!
Let the kid at least have a game before he takes your Griffin Mckintosh scapegoat analogy, jeez your so morbid.

Have you watched him the last 6-8 weeks? Also as good a winger as Handley is, Sutcliffe has helped him in the try scoring department the last 2 seasons.
Mcdonald was coached by Smith in the Q Cup. Its maybe a style thing? Smith might want bigger outsidebacks? Something we're moving away from. Just because Leeds are releasing him doesn't mean he's a bad player

I was certainly correct about Griffin one good season in three is not good business Do we really want another utility player when we are crying out for a like for like replacement for Mau and possibly another front row

Although he wouldn’t have be my first choice, obviously I’d rather have a Percival, or a Kelepi, but when you consider we have Andre, Carlos, Cator, and even Trueman all out with bad injuries, who knows how their rehabilitation will go, but Sutty I believe has played all these positions, and it could actually be an astute signing, as I say let’s give the guy a chance.

I know I’m in the minority regarding Mau, but I was underwhelmed by his performances, to me the guy did not possess any running threat, and rather than replacing like for like, I’d be looking for a Sika or Mini as a replacement. It’s all opinions Bonaire and you are freely allowed yours, but come on let’s get him playing first.
Can play Full back, centre, 6 and second row. Never had a settled position with us despite him being our current longest serving player. His preference is centre…..been a bit of a ‘Jack of all trades, master of none for us’ but offers good versatility
