I did ask the question regarding the price freeze, when a pass holder who has been in full time education leaves university, the jump from the discounted student pass price to adult is quite a leap, and especially with covid, and limited job opportunities in Hull, I’m sure many a student who are leaving full time education will have no option, not to renew, perhaps a scheme incorporating discounts for the many people who claim universal credit, would be a good way to protect against losing revenue from supporters who may struggle with payments.
Rider I see your point but in fairness its always going to a big jump when you're no longer eligible for a discounted rate in regards to a season but that's just life really. Maybe the club could have offered people who were eligible last season for discounted passes a price halfway between the two for this year only but then where do you stop as a club?
Its a tough one as there's never been a situation like COVID in my lifetime that has affected everyone. Unfortunately the club also needs money to be able to survive and cutting prices and offering more discounts will make it more difficult for the club in terms of revenue. In a way its a bit of a catch 22 situation.
Thankfully I tend to put money away each week throughout the season as a kind of season pass savings fund for the following season so its always less of a hole and don't miss it when paying in full.
Talking of renewals does anyone know when the membership packs for those that have renewed are being sent out?
