Don't forget we down tools end of July
Got to play everyone at some point so I dont get too bothered about who we are playing when, but Saints up first at home isn't ideal as if we have another of our frequent off days at home that'll put the fans in a bad mood. But like us Saints have signed a few so might be a case of who has gelled better.
Can't understand why the fixture committee have left the final fixture to a the derby as would have been much better before the end but as we play them on the obligatory good Friday fixture and at the MM then it doesn't leave much option.
Agree about the St's game at 12.30pm on a Saturday being a pretty crap time and its one even football fans aren't keen on but it may prove popular being so early in the season. To be honest can't say I'm liking the number of Saturday afternoon games. I think for families in particular its more of a negative than a positive as with so many things that families do on weekends Saturday fixtures really do through spanners in that and I can see some still attending the games regularly and some picking and choosing.
I know its all down to personal preference etc when it comes to game times but for me I've been a regular of the old Sunday afternoon format in the good old days but I actually preferred the Friday night games as they seemed to have a bit more atmosphere for me and seemed more enjoyable and it then left the weekend free. Thursday night games are a pain with the kids as they never want to get up for school the following morning.
It would be interesting to know from AP the reasoning behind the move to more Saturday afternoon games.
Possibly an SMC request? They can recruit staff saying its mainly Saturday working.
There's no ideal time or day that suits everyone, we live in an ever changing society where people work all kinds of shifts, hybrid home and office work etc. Personally I prefer weekend games, can avoid the ever worsening weeknight traffic in Hull, its also a bit warmer having afternoon games in Winter and hopefully a few more Away fans in the ground too.

Football clubs don't seem to have problems getting families in on a Saturday afternoon.
The standard of play on the field is the biggest factor. West Ham fans have been moaning about the Olympic Stadium for years, but this year they are on a good run and suddenly the stadium ain't that bad and people are singing away...
Our new offer of Junior Passholders being able to get another Junior pass for a mate or relative for a £1 is a bargain and I hope we see some extra sales from that, kids are the future.
Has the Toulouse game changed to Friday 29th July? Looking at the list on the first page it says Saturday 30th 3:30pm local time, on Hull FC and Toulouses site it says Friday 29th. Good job I didn't book the Friday night flight from Stansted to Toulouse!!
