Utter craziness from Super League.
Unless Super League are obligated by Sky to fulfill a fixture this is ridiculous. Leeds look to have a strong team out as well.
Another hammering live on TV will do us no good in terms of season ticket renewals and no good for the game in general.
If anyone didn’t already know it, we’re basically playing out the games for the sake of the Sky contract. Just feels like a series of friendly games to me.

There must be some financial reward for the club.
Must be, as you say Leeds have a very strong line up out so agreeing to play tonight effectively torpedoes any (admittedly minuscule) chances of the play offs.
I can already hear the commentary team waxing lyrical about how great Leeds are whilst totally ignoring the fact we have so many players out and no prep time. It's obviously being done for the good of the game and to keep sky happy so what will be will be. All i ask is the commentary team give us respect and credit for jumping in at such short notice and with so many players out. It will also benefit the younger players, They can play with no pressure, keep it to within 18/24 points and learn from it.

Fair enough, till after the game, the old RL tribunal suspends a couple of our players for running using their knees, but we thank you for your sportsmanship.
We have been on standby so will have trained and prepared for this game just in case, it's not like we're going into it cold. We clearly have to fulfil our sky contract for the benefit of the sport and so I have no issues with our game tonight.
