It’s funny how we all see the game differently, I thought we were getting pegged for holding down too often, whilst Huddersfield seem to have more leeway. Blind faith I suppose.

Delighted to get the win in an encouraging first half.
Concerns that against a bigger pack the youngsters could get steamrollered. We could really do with any of Taylor, Sao, Jones, Bowden or Savelio back, hopefully they will be before too long.
Biggest positives for me as others have said were ruck speed and that we had more variety in our kicking game. Friday will be a completely different challenge and with Sneyd, Naulago and Cator added to the absentees above that's 7 first teamers out as it stands so a big test. Hopefully some bodies back and better preparation this week.

I want Sao and Savelio back but the rest not so much - dont get the hype around Jones and Taylor is too slow. Bowden needs to be moved on sharpish

Taylor is still a very good prop, look at his stats for the start of the season, just not hit the heights of 2016/17.

I really don't undersatnd why people right off players after 5/6 games, if we give Jones some decent ball he is be a great assest.

Agreed on Bowden, I'd have him as 6th choice prop now.

I think Bowden is 28, he suffered a terrible injury, he’s was out for a year, battled back, suffered another set back, overcame that, he needs a lot more game time, I’m not looking for a fight but if you rate Bowden as sixth place prop, are you placing him behind Gaz, who will surely retire, Fash one good game, Satae who’s not on the field long enough, come on your right about Tag, he is still our best prop, but he needs to up his game as well.

We are a prop light, when Green and Paea left as discussed last year, it was not addressed, and the obvious ridiculous decision to release Watts really was the catalyst for our front row demise.
