Can't see this tbh. I like Fonua on the wing more but I like the balance of attack more in my team..and Shaul could thrive next yr in fairness and I'm not generally a Shaul basher. But this yr his support prowess left him which left him with 0 attributes as a contributing fullback in attack at least. Probably in the league's worst 4 or 5..miles n miles off the best in the comp I like the idea of Jake filtering in and spraying balls out wide hitting wingers on the chest from 10 out etc and adding a kick game from there. Think we'd be a completely different team for opposition to work out

I think people will be surprised by Swift, bags of pace, but also makes lots of meters, with Ratu probably leaving after a year, it makes sense to keep him and play him (as long as his form warrants it).
He would be in my 13 next season. Faraimo needs to improve his defence and handling Ratu is still a bit raw, scored some unbelievable trys, but is still naive in attack and defence.

To be honest I don't think either Faraimo nor Ratu should be shoe ins for next season on the wing. Whilst Ratu has certainly done well in his short time in league and has scored some great tries he has also been in the not so great category too towards the end of the season. Faraimo needs to work on his defence in particular staying on his wing and way too many times has he come in far too much and left massive holes and overlaps when all he needed do was stay put on the wing.
For me Swift has been wrongly bagged and I would probably have in the 17 ahead of both currently. I'd also rather see Connor back in at centre with either Swift or Ratu and have Mahe on the wing with Carlos as the centre.
An awful lot of work is needed on our passing and speed of play to maximise the potential of the outside backs. We also need to improve line speed massively in both defence and attack.
Jones, Sau, Griffin ans Savelio should be devasting on the edges and even more so combining them with the backs we have but it we need much quicker speed to our play. Which should leave us with greater attacking options and not solely reliant on Sneyd kick to the corner, a bit bit of Kelly magic or the forwards to try and barge over.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Good post, BUUUUUT, who’s going to put all the changes into place?

Ratu has some brain farts of his own IMO and shouldnt be a given as a starter but he would make my side due to the fact he does seem a quick learner. What I would like to see but wont happen.
Connor Ratu Carlos Fonua Swift Kelly Sneyd Taylor Houghton Satae Jones Mau Sao
