You made a perfectly valid point.
Our attack often breaks down when Shaul gets the ball. Our offensive problems are not all his fault obviously but for all his occasional brilliance in broken play and his safety under the high ball he has deficiencies in his game that often cost us.

Indeed,we know what Shaul, Seyd, Kelly and Connor can do, maybe we need to "play what is in front of us" a bit more next season, but I think Lee sees it more like then NFL, set calls and plays, no individual flair.

If your assessment is accurate why have so many flair players in the team?
Coote would look bang average with the ball that shaul gets although shaul still wouldn't find the killer pass 9 times out of 10 even if he got good early ball.
Our passing and attacking structures are absolutely woeful.
Alongside garbage defence, there is so much wrong with our attacking play that we need to strip everything back and start again but we don't have the personnel at the club currently capable of doing it

Go discuss your own team, bottom of SL, saved by having a MINUS 62 points difference better than London and the talisman given 10 minutes, how "Pride of East Hull" you must feel.
Its' going to be the same spine of the team for next season and probably with the same coach , The fears there it will be pretty much the same results next season .

With our pack next season Shaul should be looking at 20 treys next season, he should be on the shoulder of Jones , Ma'u etc.
I'd start him at FB, but if he doesn't perform, put Connor there, also think Wynne will be breathing now his neck.
Need to get Kelly fit and spell Houghton with JJ.
I've no doubt we will improve next season, think we will rely on power again like 2016, I could see us winning the cup, but don't think we have the coach to win us the GF.

Shaul to me is Bang Average. Fast in open space, but who aint when playing in that position? Defensively...Shocking. How he in got in the GB squad is a mystery.
