I agree with you mate. Should not be allowed in to the ground as they do in footy but unfortunately Rugby isn't classified as a designated sporting event so the rules are different.
its been blown out of proportion anyway,a few idiots causing trouble.and who cares what the press say, right wing rags that I stopped buying 20 years ago, I bet not many of them devoted much space to the actual match itself.grubby newspapers, who needs them as for the idiots, catch them and give them a couple of years jail time.soon sort that out.
all the nrl games ive watched over the last 10 years, many big crowds,no segregation.many people knocking beer back.ive yet to see any crowd trouble. a lessen to be learned.you can drink at sports events and not cause trouble.segregation doesn't help either, with the them and us attitude.its really refreshing watching the aussie crowds with both sets of fans sat amongst each other.it seems far more of a family game over there
Something has to happen or it's just a matter of time before a player or referee/touch judge is seriously injured by a flying bottle.
It maybe unfair on the vast majority who just want a quiet drink but I would stop alcohol being consumed in the stands although authorities also need to stop anyone drunk or disorderly entering the ground and drinking to excess once they are in. Stewards at most grounds are useless.
I've pretty much stopped going away with Hull due to the handful of morons who give us all a bad name. I was at Anfield and Bolton and both time saw drunked idiots unable to behave in public.

I've said on here before, if you watch Toronto games they are basically beer festivals with no sign of any bother.
It's the British disease of binge drinking and not knowing when to stop.
I still say we should not let a few lager louts win the day,if they can drink abroad in aussie or Toronto with no trouble why should we accept defeat over here.we should crack down hard on morons who cant take the booze.last thing we should do is to let the few yobs win.
Wouldn’t make a difference banning drink in the stadium, you’d still get your idiots regardless, it’s a very small minority who cause trouble, just need to find them and ban them. People need they heads read if comparing to football. Imagine football doing a magic weekend ha carnage. Been to most, enjoyed drinks with every set of fans in sl, superb respect between 99% of fans

Arif the guy who has accused a “Hull supporter” of telling him to fek off home, also said that a Halifax fan asked him if he was from Bollywood, and did he fancy him.
