So you think picking a centre on the bench was more or less grunt than picking a forward? A player was picked with a known injury problem and we covered it with a back on the bench, others have already said this was an error in judgement. So Green was available to play but wasn't picked, 'any minute now' wasn't this Saturday was it, and as Warrington did they pulled their player off the pitch when baby decided it was on its way.
Connor was "unwell" before the game, not injured. I'd be very surprised if he didn't say he was ok to play.
Griffin, Carlos, Connor: put Griffin on the bench instead and no one would have commented on playing a "back" on the bench.
You still haven't said who you would have played. I guess Turgut wouldn't be on your list, so maybe someone who could better Abdull and Matongo's total carries between them of 2?
I've no idea why Green didn't play, nor have you, maybe it was jetlag.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Litten should be in front if we are wanting to relieve Hadley in any case.
I realise Washbrook hasn't had as much game time as some (which magnifies his error number though) but it just goes to show that we should be looking to someone else to have a go at filling his slot/role if Radford is sticking to his mandate of picking players on form.
Which should see some players under pressure, I reckon Logan could be given a run in the centres if others aren't up to the mark, I can't see Shaul being dropped though. The stand outs so far for me are Hadley and Paea with Abdul not far behind.
We deffo need to sort out bench out though because that was a baffling choice on Saturday if I'm honest, it left us well short of grunt.
This is why stats don't tell the full story. Shaul not catching the ball on the full from the kick off does not go down as an error, yet having the ball squeezed out in a tackle does (yet a referee with a different vantage point could easily have given a ball steal)
FWIW, Depending on Kelly's head knock recovery, I see a place in the starting side for Abdul, either at 6 or 13.

Will be tough to nullify their forwards as they have some big units, Hill, Crosby, Masila.....Mike Cooper has looked really strong as well after his time in the NRL. If Clarke gets on a roll from dummy half behind them we will struggle.

That was a 7 day turnaround, this is a 6 therefore if he failed he will be unable to play on Friday night.

Apparently Connor said he felt light headed so the conditioning staff put some carbo food into him and he was declared fit to play. Whether that was the reason he was yanked off i dont know but he wasnt having a good game. If Green was fit to play then the bench in my opinion was a poor selection. Much better to have included Green,Started with Tuimavave and had Griffin on the bench. Griffin is not a starting centre but i still maintain when we are short on numbers he is a good option on the bench.

Must win game - we lose and were four lost from the first five (inc St George) and three losses against supposed SL top eight rivals
Tbh i think Wire are back on song - theyve looked a decent side again in the last couple of Sky games where as we are are still dropping the ball constantly every game and are looking far from decent. Add in our injuries and i only see a loss
We are not far from where we were last year, especially if we beat Warrington. We lost to Cas in the league, beat Huddersfield, although we did beat Wigan away last year. However, if we can beat Warrington, I fancy us to go to Leeds and get a win the week after so that would mean we are level with where we were last year in the like for like games
