Our Bench and squad depth looks very weak this season .

Some described him as a "plodder" and what not, but Pritchard did bring a lot to the side, even if it was only coming on in spells down the middle. We miss that impact, someone to suck in 3 or 4 tired defenders, sapping opposition energy with big carries. People might have been disappointed with him, but ultimately we didn't manage to replace what we lost when he left, resulting in a fairly weak bench.
Obviously there are cap constraints and the club decided to spend on Kelly, so there are pros & cons.
Next season there could be an opportunity to bring an impact forward in by offloading a couple of squad players (like Michaels & Thompson), or with Hadley coming back, start him and Mini off the bench.

Jordan Thompson was not a regular last season . Both him and Michaels need to be moved on . Michaels only shone playing outside Fonua . Thompson is average at best .

Talanoa will come in for Michaels. Thompson is better starting at 13 Need another prop coming off the bench so better to have Green off the bench Until we can get round to having Ellis and Mini coming off the bench to give us some impact i think we will continue to struggle. It should be an eye opener for the club now to see just how weak our bench is recently

Didn't our bench win in the 5 consecutive games prior to Saints, including with depleted interchanges against Castleford?

Radford strongest bench last was Bowden, Pritchard, Green and Washy, so although missing Frank, the bench is pretty much the same.
Buggest difference is we have more injuries and suspensions this year, IMO our best starting line up is better than last year if we can get them all on the field and fully fit.
We need need an impact forward though, imagine how much better we would be with Naughton and BMM instead instead of Michaels and Thompson

Castleford was the only standout.Warrington ok The matches against Catalan reserves,leigh and Widnes were all Uninspiring and the previous 2 games before this run we were thumped by both Leeds and Salford. The only way we can have bench impact is when Ellis is fit and he and Mini come off the bench. Whatever fans think of Pritchard we definately miss him off the bench this season
