It says that they are only 2 points behind us and 4 off the top, Saints haven't being crap all season just inconsistent they along with others have had their fair share of injuries and maybe haven't dealt with it as well as other teams have. Yesterday was there first proper tonking, they were in it at 18-25 despite our first half dominance/possession. What it says about the league is that it's very competitive, as many others have stated, any team on any given weekend can beat another. I don't think the standard is poor or got worse, just the effort of some teams have improved such as Wakefield, even Salford and of course Catalans and ourselves.

Extremely talented, committed and will end up an FC Legend.
Just an observation on danny's efforts of the last few years. he has nearly always been behind a very average pack. not bad but not that good. nevertheless he has always delivered top performances.I wonder how Roby would have played if the situations had been reversed, also for the last couple of seasons he's had a top class replacement on the bench.
I think Houghton set a new bench mark for himself with that performance yesterday , Truly outstanding contribution and probably his best in a Hull Jersey.

Completely agree, been best hooker in sl for some time now, just been playing in a poor team. Plus hes made of titanium , wouldnt swap him for anyone
roby is a still a quality player and would have shone himself if he'd been playing behind our pack. I'd love to see Houghton picked for England but can;t see him getting in ahead of roby and clark. Would be great to see 2 lads from Hull interchanging at hooker though.
As for peacock, he's a rovers employee so would probably have got a p45 if he'd said we were any good. Interesting to hear him say he is involved in the coaching side though when he said it wasn't something he was interested in previously

Well you be wrong (again) there were a few who thought he was good enough for a top 4 team and we should cash in, plenty including me argued his case and value.
To be honest I don't remember you on these forums last year or did you post under another username.
