Lancaster unknown but again small and lightweight and would be peppered with high kicks from the opposition Michaels probably the best of what we have at this level. Talanoa is OK carries the ball strongly as we know but is no speed merchant and may end up as a centre once again Total imbalance between forwards and backs for next season.
Burgess at Wigan isn't exactly big is he.....end of the day,Lineham wanted to clear off and not see out his contract,so let him go.He scored 16 pts for us yesterday but cost us 10.

Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Another good player peed off by Radford Burgess is 6ft 3 and 15 stone how big do you want him to be. only 20 with a large frame to develop but real speed, presence, athleticism and try scoring ability.

Wingers don't look great next season, I'd go with Talanoa and Michaels on the wings but no real speed from either. As for Talanoa at centre. He's not any better then Yeamo there. Another who struggles to pass and doesn't look comfortable there. Play him on the wing or don't play him at all.
Shaul Talanoa Fonua Tuimavave/Logan Michaels
That's what I'd go with. Naughton can back up fullback and wing.

I'd expect that to be our 1-5, Logan likely to be nipping at the heels of the other two centres. Agree about Talanoa, did ok filling in at centre for a while but is best to be on the wing only
The whole 3/4 line looks poor again next year although fonua might be good. When michaels is probably our 2nd best centre/winger then you know things aren't good. Huge amounts of money tied up in the back row, not enough depth of quality at prop and our centre and wing options nowhere near good enough.
Anyone who thinks losing lineham is anything but a massive loss needs to think about how many Hull players have scored 25 tries in a season in the last 8 years. Add in the fact he has missed a fair few matches and it's a great achievement. Given the choice between keeping lineham or radford I know which I would have chosen

Naughton at the same age as logan and the other young bunch and only been wing specific training during the season 'will never make it' odd comment that Lancaster 'lightweight' not seen him recently then? Kids developing hell of a physique on him I thought Fonua was playing centre but think I got my wires crossed in a convo with a coach member. Think he's down for wing. Given logan s development that would seem very possible. Binman is moving back to wing.
Shaul Fonua Logan Carlos Binman would be ok for me

Said as soon as we announced Manu that we had far too much of the salary spent on the back row. Seriously lacking another top class front rower, and an outside back to be competing next season imo.

he didnt say short on numbers in the front row he said top class and he is correct. sad to say none of our bench props have had any impact this year and it was clear to see the difference once Paea and Watts were off the field. We have an extremely unbalanced squad for 2016.

Just about everyone can see that apart from the Coach.
How can you go from the verge of signing Inu a winger/centre then change your mind and use the money to sign Manu a second rower.
