5/10 mainly due to the effort. At times our execution for a professional SL side has been a disgrace. We need some better players - hopefully we'll be better again next year with the net change in personnel.

Scores out of 10 are obviously subjective, but IMO a 5/10 is probably fair. It's not been the disaster some would have you believe, but there's not been much to write home about either.
Going into 2015, my personal expectations were; a finish around 5th/6th/7th, an improvement in our brand of rugby following the signing of Sneyd & Pryce, and some stability with our squad.
We finished 7th after 23 rounds, which only just met the bare minimum requirement of 8th, but left us way too far off the top4 to really mount any pressure. 2016 bare minimum we have to be competing until round 30. That could mean finishing 6th, but as long as we're going into that final round with top4 a possibility, I'll be happy(ish). Our brand of rugby first half of the year was dreadful, second half it picked up a little, but with that came error after error. Sneyd was disappointing, Pryce was decent while he was fit. I enjoyed watching our kids step up. It's quite obvious that the bulk of our training is either on defence, or badly judged attacking drills. This results in the poor decision making and error ridden game we've become used to. Squad - We still had alot to sort out (Manu, Arundel, Crookes, McDonnell etc) all that crap left from the McRae days should now be in the past. Our recruitment for next year has been good on the whole (not perfect), the youngsters stepping up was great, and my highlight of the season (which says everything really).
The academy merger was definitely the low point for me.
All in all, 2015 was pretty average.

wigan, leeds, saints. there's 3 of next years top 4. bold prediction eh? no reason at all why we shouldn't challenge wire and hudds for 4th. whether we will is another thing entirely, and don't forget cas will be there or thereabouts and catalan have recruited very strongly too. we could finish anywhere from 4th to 9th.
as for this season its somewhere between a 5 and a 6 - bang average yet slightly better than the previous one
