In terms of Westerman I am sure Wilf has alluded to it in several diaries that the club will take whatever is offered for him. Hopefully Warrington or Leeds will come in for him and offer the right money. Money that I would like to see invested in a new half back to partner Sneyd.

I'm not sure if Westy goes we will bring anyone in, I think if this move happens it will be to balance the books.
I don't think we need a half back, as we have Abdul, Sneyd, Pryce, HTW, Carlos T and Dean. We just need better backs, better support and less handling errors.
On Westy leaving, I am 50/50, great player on his day and works hard for the team, but too inconsistent and his money and possible fee could be very useful for our team.

If this is true then it's a shame because he is a talented player. Liam Watts has matured this season under the influence of players such as Ellis & Mini. I have always liked Westy and hoped he would be looking at international honours while playing for hull

He's had 1 good season in what 5 years? Has all the talent but not consistent enough and this season in particular he's looked overweight. Think it'd be best for him to start afresh somewhere else.

Was fantastic last season, thought he was captain in waiting. Disappointing this. Been good overall over five years but not outstanding.

Remember the cup game v Leeds when Westerman made mistake after mistake. Normally you see other players offering support, but Westerman was pretty much ignored. Spoke volumes.
