Wouldnt surprise me to see Pearson and friends try to buy Hull City. it would be a good move to be in control of FC, Hull City and the SMC. 2 Million to buy and a scheduled loan repayment to Allam is not beyond Adam and his business friends.

I agree, and it is not out of the question they will return to the Premier League, the squad is a lot younger and more valuable than the one they had when they were relegated last time. Even if they failed to win promotion there's a few players to sell off to balance the books.

Yeah, except only an idiot would pay £50m for a championship football club with no tangible assets

Scheduled loan repayment over several years plus interest is also a good way of Allam recovering his money. It would be a bit of a gamble for Pearson but on the basis promotion is a good possibility with the squad they have now i think Adam has something up his sleeve here. he has left a position at Leeds which will have given him a lucrative salary and possibly other benefits if they were promoted so there has to have been a conflict of interest meaning he needed to leave. Putting two and two together with Allams latest interview it would make sense.

I hope he does buy them but you'd have to be really stupid or really rich to spend £50m+ on a club with no premier league status and no assets
