The amount of times I hear people bang on about him being enthusiastic etc. It's great to see as a fan. But it doesn't win many games. I've never ever seen him save a try. His high ball is a little ropey and loads of times he wasn't there for back up. Only thing he has over Shaul is his link play and that can be either great or loose. When we have Shaul already, a fair wage and an overseas spot can't be justified imo. Like the kid and wish him well but not required for us!

Perhaps Shaul needed the naughty step for a period after all and I'm not saying that was a bad thing? Perhaps it was good man management and coaching and a lesson to Jamie?
Rated Rankin personally. Thought he linked well and a decent try/game ratio.
Not the greatest defensively but neither is Shaul to be honest. Probably a financial decision with what we've got coming in.
Will be interested to see how things pan out for him.
