Am I correct in assuming probably the strongest FC team of the season to date. Looks like your injuries seem to have cleared up for this match. If I was a betting man I'd say FC by 12 easy. Jake: Could you post the link about confirmation of Sio's broken jaw please because according to the media reports I have read it was displaced teeth which have been wired up, but big raps to him if you are right and he is playing with that injury. Any information regards Lunt because again he has been injured for several weeks, would be a boost though.

Sorry, I am unable to reveal my sources but can confirm they are better than yours.

Hull's main threat for years has come from broken field plays on the back of Houghton getting away from the ruck quickly, Shaul fits that style better than Rankin for me who, in the past, has shown very little in derbies to suggest he offers anything to worry Rovers.
While we are at it, I hope Talanoa turns up with someone else's hands on and Gareth Hock's brain in place of his own again.

Don't see why we are moving Talanoa back out to wing just to accommodate an out of form Yeamam? Talanoa has looked effective at centre and would have put Sa in as the other centre. Rovers will no doubt kick to Fetuli at every opportunity hoping for a few mistakes. Just don't get it! With Naughton injured surely our best three-quarters line which shows a mixture of power and pace is Lineham, Sa, Talanoa, and Michaels? Would prefer Shaul at FB for this one as he can be a gamechanger in these type of close derbyshire matches with his extra pace in broken play.

michaels is hopeless under the high ball so he's probably looking for some height on the wings

If Rovers go into the game with Mantellato and Sio on the wings I would hope that whoever is on your wings, Lineham, Michaels or Talanoa, would be getting peppered at every available opportunity.

As someone else has said I'd have Shaul on the wing, Rovers biggest threat us the kick to the corner and we have been hopeless, the main reason we lost last Friday.

Think it probably does our attacking play this season to say that the kick wide is our biggest threat tbh with the tries we have scored but there's no denying that it will probably be a way we seek to exploit Hull.

Cos Yeamans god in defence..........
And agree, KR could (and probably will) win this game with kicks to the corner and Mantellano (whatever his name is) out jumping our wingers and centres.
Although to be fair Lineham aside none of them are exactly Giants.
Be a long afternoon in those corners if we give them too much possession, like we did against Saints on Friday.
