Completely agree.
There have been a few disparaging remarks about Yeaman recently. Whilst he's not been playing very well, for a player who's given the club so many years service as he has, the lack of respect that's shown for one of our players by some of our fans is a disgrace.
Giving a balanced opinion on his performances is fine, but comments like that are atrocious. I get embarrassed by our fans at times.

Oh boy, I completely believe in freedom of speech and everyone is entitled to an opinion but players and their families read this, do we really need that sort of stuff, it will hardly inspire anyone a few days before a derby will it?

For 333 games Kirk has put his body on the line for hull FC scoring 165 try's (660pts) not bad for a shitt player

No one can doubt Yeamans effort, but he is awful these days, it could be argued that he is one of the worst Hull players to keep getting picked despite week after week poor performances, the OP has a point about him not jumping for that ball for the first try.

Yeaman in his day was a very good centre.but that has past and now unfortunately he is a shadow of his former self. IMO unless injuries hit he shouldn't be in the team.

I accept and agree that Yeaman’s best days are clearly behind him, however that does not entitle me or anyone else to abuse him in the way some have. He’s given this club years of loyal service and has never shamed us (unlike some), at his very best he was outstanding. In my opinion he deserves much more respect that he is being afforded by some.

For what its worth,i'll have my 2 penneth, yeaman has been a loyal, rock solid team player for a long period in time and does not deserve the criticism he is getting.I agree he is past his best, but cant you realise the fault is with radford for picking him,not yeaman for playing ??

For perhaps the first time ever I find myself agreeing with almost everything Des just said
My take on it is:
1. Yeaman has been an FC great.
2. Sadly he can't cut it at this level any longer.
3. If Radford continues to pick him Yeaman will do his best (but see 2. above)
4. The criticism of him is justified but it's wrong to abuse him (or any other player).
First there was wisdom Then there was knowledge Now there is only information

Just watched the highlights again and look at the stats, and this would be my team
Shaul (Rankin, was Oki last match, but no tackle busts, clean breaks etc, as others have said Shaul would be there to back up the breaks) Lineham (Too good a winger to sat in the stands) Talanoa (Best position) Sa (Best position, not good enough defensively in the backrow to play big minutes, 9 missed tackles last week) Naughton (If not fit Micheals) Pryce Sneyd Paea Houghton Watts Mini Ellis Abdul (Deserves a starting spot, scored bot trys when he was on the field, one try and one assit, extra pivot)
Green Thomspon Westerman (If not fit, Cunningham) Whiting
