While I think Naughton should definitely keep his place its a bit odd leaving out one of Super League's top try scorers this season, assuming he is fit.

Radford said in the Yorkshire Post that Lineham would have been omitted for the Cas game even if he was fit due to a couple of defensive lapses at Warrington that cost us tries.

Fair enough but isn't a winger supposed to be an attacking player whose main job is to score tries?

we must have the only coach who drops our match winners or players who get you back into games!
shaul at saints and tom at warrington!
wouldnt blame them for bxxxxxing off! after all, it was radders best mate yeaman who stood ball watching right in front of us to allow wire back into the game as they never looked like scoring in that set!

Easy to say when out anyway. Good way to put a rocket up a player

You must have been watching a different game to me. (I'm assuming you're referring to Monaghan's 2nd half try.)
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Did you got to the Wire game? Lineham was woefully out of position for both Hormsby tries, he was stood next to his centre on both occasions, for no reason whatsoever. No problem with him dropping him for it, if he has the right attitude it won't be long before he's back.
i went to the wire game, stood to the left of the posts, the side yeaman was defending in the second half! he just stood and watched the ball bounce in front of him! didnt even attempt to knock it out, monaghan pounced and that allowed them to get on top, it was a speculative kick as they couldnt break us down until that!
the lineham tries he let in were on the other wing from our view, say what you want but that try yeaman let in allowed a clueless wire back into the game!

I'm no Yeaman fan and came to the same conclusion as you at the time, but looking back at the highlights it's difficult to see what he could have done. Lineham stays on his wing and marks his man you can deduct the 10 points they scored.
