It's what Mr Koukash wants, but has been voted out up until now. Basically, one player is exempt from the salary cap, so you can pay him whatever you want. Rumour is it may come in next year.

Heard a few days ago an offer on the table for SKD and Sam thaiaday. But if they're coming over most teams will be in. SKD would be a fair chance I'd say. Moa n Fitz can put in a good word. As can macnamara n he's a former team mate of motu s.

Both would be brilliant signings if true. SKD is a possibility, but I can't see Thaiday coming over here yet. Not whilst he's still playing for the Aussies and in SOO.
