Another set of average joes? The likes of Leeds Wigan saints and wire cherry pick, Salford buy the best the rest are left to feed off scraps
I appreciate its harder for the club to bring in quality when as you say the top clubs get first dibs and Salford can offer big wages, but there has to be a complete overhaul of our scouting.
Catalan have slowly improved bit by bit over the years and now have a team filled with power, creativity and pace that is a genuine Top4 contender. Castleford made some inspired signings and finished Top4 and got to Wembley last year.
It can be done with proper scouting and a decent coach, not a policy of filling the squad with as many cheap 'bargains' as we can get our hands on, before paying them all off to start the whole process again

Michaels is a typical nothing signing, doesn't look quick or powerful...just an average journeyman.
and don't get me started on Yeaman, the only centre in SL played only for his ability to tackle, absolutely no attacking threat from him for about 3 years now.
The same Michaels whom made umpteen tackles in the first half, he was as solid as a rock. Made the mistake 2nd half but to say he's an average journeyman is wide of the mark IMO.

I think he is a competent RL player from what i've seen, but you expect your overseas signings to bring something different to the table. Lots of centre's out there can tackle well, its players who can beat a man and create something that we badly need.

Given that you said almost exactly the same thing just last week it looks like you're in for plenty of entertainment on here this season.
Personally I'm not finding the current situation particularly humorous. But whatever floats your boat I guess.

If Howarth Is supposed to be our third choice hooker and wasn't selected last night why on earth did we give him a contract. Our recruitment is beyond unbelievable sometimes
