He has no-one to blame but himself, though. Maybe he should have focused more on how good a deal/signing was than how high profile it would be.

Maybe he should have done a bit more research on the sport he was buying into regarding the salary cap/quota/players wanting to leave for union & NRL.
He should have also researched the club he was buying a bit more & realised he just isn't going to get the crowds he wants.
