my kids were out yesterday for a couple of hours building a snowman on the front, only came indoors for a cuppa and some t*ats had kicked it down by the time they went back out, so spent another couple of hours building one in the front garden, there well proud of it, and today theve built an igloo in the back garden, this snow has been heaven to my lot!!!

I went mad at Howard the other day for clearing our path. If you're seen to tamper with it and the someone slips you can be seen as liable whereas if you leave it then it's just nature and nothing can be done.

Yup. I'm surprised no one has taken legal action against councils if they crash on gritted roads!!

I'm amazed that people still keep spouting this urban myth.
They'd have to prove you were reckless or negligent in the way you cleared the snow, to make a case

Not exactly reckless or negligent. They'd have to prove you created the issue by gritting. (and probably balance it vs your responsibility to grit in the 1st place and the scale of the original issue)
Agreed it does appear to be a myth though. (which a lot of employer legal teams are believing too!!)
