You are missing the point I was making. I felt the spirit and passion that M Crocker has for the shirt he pulls on was clearly evident in that clip and those are two crucial aspects missing in our team over the past two seasons. It goes without saying about his playing ability but I think that passion and commitment are contagious and would have really made a difference. Hence why I said it was a shame he couldn’t make it over here.

As far as a scuffle on the RL pitch goes, that’s part and parcel of the game, nothing wrong with a bit of biff and bash every now and again on the field.

It's obvious the point you were trying to make. Everybody knows how good Crocker would have been and even somebody who doesn't watch FC regularly can see we are short on leadership and passion

oh yeah and i too really really miss a good scrap. i understand that it offends alot of people and RL fans but i can't help not caring - i love seeing a good fight, a few windmills and blood spattered shirts. maybe it relieves pressure from the players?!

i've got a hull bradford game on VHS from 2003 i think and there's a cracking fight between jason smith and fielden. blood everywhere. great
