And how sad it was to see so few of his team-mates supporting Horne on the day either.
By all accounts only Richard Agar Washbrook, Berrigan, Lee, Houghton, Burnett and Whiting attended - disgraceful!
In contrast, full credit to the Rovers lads who came to support Horne (Briscoe, Mills, Spaven) and most of all Paul Cooke who braved the embarrasing boos of some FC die-hards to take part in the Pantomine Horse race.
A special wrap too for Justin Morgan for putting in an appearance. It was nice to see him chatting amiably to Richard Agar and Horne throughout the afternoon.
So you never actually went yourself?
Disgraceful.

For all these that are saying Berrigan is leaving or Berrigan has had a fall put, blah, blah, blah I think it is complete and utter tosh
I was at the races today supporting Richard Horne in his testimonial year and it was great to see none other then Mr Berrigan stood along side the rest of the players there and Mr Agar.
Ok he never moved from the private box to mingle with people in the crowd, but he was there laughing and joking along with Horney, Washy, Houghton, Whiting, Lee, Hall just to name afew.
But I did'nt see any other of the aussies there, so what does that say about them???????
From another thread...
someone appears to be wrong.

Just a quick point.
Why do you still use the word Neutral in your username when it's blatantly obvious you aren't?

And IF they had've attended someone would be crying, " How can they run a rugby club and attend these events?"
