All credit to Cas. Sherwin ran the show, his kicking game was very good. Chase ran well and their backs were very quick. They will beat teams this season and they also looked very fit. We do not deserve to win every game and we will be beaten at times. Still third but a long way to go. Didn't really see the big hits in defence last night that have been present in previous games. They now have a week to prepare for Quinns which we must win, but again, not an easy task.
When we have a feed at the scrum, how about having the boy Briscoe in the stand off position, getting the ball first.
We all know he's got amazing strength and steps out of tackles with ease. The reduced defensive line the scrum offers is perfect for him.
I think you will find that he did that at least once last night.
I still think the rule that allow's the defence to break from the scrum before the ball comes out is a stupid one. It stiffles what set plays teams can put on from the base of the scrum, but in general this has been an area of great improvement for us this season.
Last night aside, we seem to try different things this year from the base of the scrum and have been relatively succesfull.
Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?

allthough i like your comeback, we actullay never put a one pointer over, it was them that did, we just get revenge for that late penilty they gave them last year against you.

Maloney King Whiting Washbrook Hodgson
as options. Depending on their relative levels of fitness, I'd play Sam in the reserves next week, not because he's done anything wrong, but Cusack and Dowes are going to be shagged by Easter at this rate. Would put King in for Sam, and maybe Washy for Lee.
See how they go in the reserves today. maloney and whiting have both been poor up to now in the reserves. Lee looked great last night. If i were bringing Washy in i would try to leave Lee in too and rest Radford who has looked shattered the last 2 games. We need to give Cusack or Dowes a break somehow too i feel.

And you've played all the 'big teams' too.... concerned?

Watch the reserves yesterday, washy was poor tbh and i saw maloney for the 1st time ,i honestly can not see him getting in the 1st team this year hes not big enough and has no real impact at that level never mind S/L hes way behind Wheeldon as a player ,Washy was very average carnt remember him making a break tbh i thought whiting worked hard without been to stand out. Paul King was a stand out player and looked every bit a super leauge player put some big hits in, had some great runs and laid some great balls off for the young lads who enjoyed running off him ,i would recall kingy for deffo dont know about the others yet ,just can not see who you would leave out for them on form at the moment
