i doubt that tbh. washy will come into the back row, tony full back, raynor to the wing which will put hall and briscoe in contention for the centres (and in front of whiting, imo) he could come in at half back if the worst happened.

i've no doubt his talent but because of the lenghs of his injuries he has fell in the pecking order.

centre - yeaman, horne, hall, briscoe
half back - horne, thorman
back row - radford, manu, tickle, washbrook and with early seaon form burnett

are all in front of him. add lee and hodgson to the squad and it will be hard work for rich, one i'm sure his awear and is capable of.

I always think we look a much better team with Whiting in the side.
He's just been unlucky with injuries, so people have forgot what he's capable of.
Always saw him turning into a classy Loose forward - good passing game, good runner, but also tackles well above his weight.

Shame about his pace, otherwise he'd be a great centre.

in front of washy? the lad with 3 years left to run and whiting has one?
look at the way we play now with radford at 13, washy's bulked up to play a more central role like what radfords doing now.

we dont play with that type of 13 anymore.

We don't play that type of 13 because Whiting was injured most of last season. Well imo
Whitings not exactly a wimpling! great in defence, runs brilliant angles, and its class with ball in hand and on the boot.
washys got a good step, he shined last year, but for me he has to do a bit more to win my vote of whiting

but washy has the 3 year deal and with the salary cap and 25 man squad can we afford to have a back row heavy squad?
