ive only been in the away end obviously, for some reason the atmosphere was great 2 years ago. but last season was a very poor atmosphere TBH, well except for the other 3 stands which seemed a little happy for some reason

Was one of the 'big 4' though I think. Its just a shame that most games have a crap atmosphere

If the constant shouting of 'forward' 'get em on side' and singing to your hearts content about other clubs is what you call atmosphere then fair comment

Like Craven Park, it was isolated to one part of the ground rather than the total stadium like the KC.

The atmosphere in that game was fantastic (think it was in 2004?). I can remember a Wigan player going for a penalty/conversion down the east stand side and the noise was deafening. A friend who'd either watched on sky or listened to it on the radio called me after the game and commented how loud the crowd was.
There's been zilch atmosphere at caravan park in the derby games there since they came up (including the one we won!). It may feel great if you're in the east stand but the rest of the ground is carp. SKY coverage doesn't give the impression there is any anyway.
I think the atmosphere at the KC is generally OK, occassionally excellent and sometimes rubbish. Depends on the game, the opposition and how many away fans there are
