cos it was bloody freezing, which id imagine affected the away support

Mrs Barista wrote:Why have they? Tonight's attendance was better than last season's v Wigan which was on a Sunday, and better than last season's opener. Travelling support at the KC is poor - remember Warrington only bringing about 200 or so to a Sunday game last season. We'll only be able to judge at the end of the season.
we played wigan on a friday night last year and they definitely had more support then! It was eerie early on but I think most of the crowd were waiting to get there cue from the players. Only heard old faithful twice late on though which was a surprise.

If thats what it's going to be like every friday night game, then the board have made a big mistake.

TBF I commented on it being a good crowd from Wigan.

Take into account the Friday night and the shocking weather they've had over their way I thought they brought a fair few.

300 Wigan fans? Are you joking? I was in the away end so it's hard to tell how many there was but I'd guess at least 700.

More than that. I counted 5 coaches leave the carpark.
