21 man Squad announced for the Warrington game

3. Carlos Tuimavave, 4. Liam Sutcliffe, 6. Jake Trueman, 8. Herman Ese’ese, 12. Ligi Sao, 13. Brad Fash, 15. Jordan Lane, 16. Jack Ashworth, 17. Cam Scott, 19. Morgan Smith, 21. Will Gardiner, 23. Davy Litten, 26. Lewis Martin, 27. Zach Jebson, 28. Denive Balmforth, 37. Logan Moy, 44. Tom Briscoe, 45. Yusuf Audin, 46. Tiaki Chan, 47. Ben Reynolds, 48. Jed Cartwright

Can see Cartwright not making the 17 to be honest.

No Houghton again so looks like Balmforth and Smith will get another opportunity at 9, Walker now dropped ut the 21 man squad which seems harsh with Gardiner coming in.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Cartwright in the 21 man squad, I imagine he will come off the bench for his debut.

No Houghton or Walker, Walker seems completely out of favour at the moment, i am glad they are doing the correct thing in giving Houghton time to recover.

I imagine walker will have signed for Leeds within a month.

If Cartwright is good to go, I’d move Scott to centre for Sutty. He’s been having a tough season so week off or off the bench might help us

Has to be Moy at FB, not done anything wrong to he dropped, not sure the club see Litten at fullback long term.

Good to have some selection decisions too.

Like I put on the other thread, think Walker has played his last game for Hull.

I'd start balmforth, give him 60 mins then let smith have the last 20.
Balmforth was was really good against Leeds, but flagged a bit towards the end ( understandable) so smith for the last 20.

I'd also probably go with litten at centre, give sutty a break and keep cam at 2nd row. Can always change it up later if needed with Cartwright off the bench.

As I've said before, Walker is a decent enough player, but compare him to other full backs in the league and he's mediocre at best. Moy is already pretty much as good as him imo, and has the potential to far exceed him, plus he's cheaper and more robust. Wigan are never afraid to put their faith in a youngster if they think hes good enough and Im glad we are doing that with Moy and letting him develop.

It seems like Cartwright will get a game. I wonder if Smith could be the one to miss out? Lane can do a spell at hooker if required. It would be a huge vote of confidence in Balmforth but he did leave him out there for an hour against Leeds.

There's more than meets the eye with Walker. I personally think he's a good player to have in the squad but something isn't right. Might well be another one who's gone before the end of the season.

Walker is better than Moy as it stands Imo, but Moy has alot of potential.

I don't think we can go with Moy as first choice FB, which means we Nedd a new fullback and that will probably be a quota place gone. I'd rather keep Walker and having him, but don't see that happening.

Walker being out of favour is down to attitude.
