Great player for us over 10 or so years, scored some really memorable tries, none more so than Wembley 2016. Thanks for the memories Jamie and your efforts in the famous Black and White.
As players go and particularly 'Local lads made good' Jamie has taken a bit of stick of late particularly through a period when his body has been shot and he has sustained a chain of injuries. His style of running over the years has really seen him bashed about. However to play 200 games for just one club is a great tribute to a bloke who for many years was a shoe in for our number one shirt.
On top of that it is another sad day as we lose one of those great Immortals of 2016 and his great try on an inside run in the 2016 final will be remembered by many of those reading this until the day they die. That salute to the crowd, with just a big grin and a finger to the mouth, as he went over was a crowning moment, as the comeback kids, did just that.
What a changed team we will see next year and I hope that everyone now respects just what Jamie has done for our club over the years and remember too that we wouldn't have seen any of those 200 games had Raiders not stuck his neck out back in 2012, as assistant coach, to keep him at the Club. Following class acts like Preccie and Briscoe was a big ask but he did it. I for one wish him all the best and I guess many on here will do the same.
Another one for the legends of 2016 leaves the Club!

Thanks for everything Jamie. Never forget your winning try at Wembley and the finger up to the mouth. Fantastic occasion. Good luck for the future. One of the immortals

The disappointments over the last few years should not diminish what he did between 2013 and 2018 when he scored some fantastic tries with his pace and elusive running.

No denying that Jamie in his prime was a great player for us with his elusive running threat and pace opening teams up similar to French & Field. Scored some fantastic tries for us over the years and some very important ones particularly Wembley and Caravan Park. Unfortunately no one can stop Father Time as others have said the past few years shouldn’t diminish what he has done at the club over his career, will always be one of the immortals of 2016 . Thanks for the memories.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Tremendous servant to the club for over ten years, through good times and some not quite so good times!
Scorer of some great and important tries tries over his career, none more so of course than Wembley 2016, a never to be forgotten moment for all of us, a lifelong dream finally realized.
I'd like to mention another highly important try he scored for us, from earlier that same year. We'd come into 2016 on the back of a certain amount of hype and hope, that maybe we had assembled a squad capable of big things. Only for that all too familiar sinking feeling to rear its ugly head among the faithful, as we crashed to a humiliating thrashing at Widnes followed by a none too convincing win over Wakefield. 'Here we go again, same old, same old' we sighed despondently!
Next up, Derby day, Good Friday, at the other side! More of the same, a dreadful sixty minutes, 20-0 down to them and rapidly going nowhere! And then, a half-break by Kirk Yeaman, an inside pass, and steaming up in support comes Jamie with perfect timing. A burst of acceleration, he skins the rovers full-back (Cockayne?) and races 70 metres unopposed under the sticks to put us on the scoreboard at least. With that, it was like a switch had been flicked! Twenty minutes later we were celebrating a comeback derby victory to savour. By the time we next met rovers, at Magic weekend, we were top of the league and going like a train.
Almost everything that happened in 2016 came out of Good Friday Craven Park and Jamie's pivotal intervention in both that game and the season as a whole. I've often pondered on how would that year have panned out if Jamie had knocked on from Kirk's inside pass. Scrum to rovers, resultant try from the scrum, 26-0 down with less than twenty to play. How history could have been so different, a real sliding-doors moment for the faithful.
For those two tries in 2016 alone, Jamie will always be a Black & White immortal, and goes with our thanks always for memories to cherish for the rest of our days.
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

What a runner.
I'd have liked to have called him "Roadrunner" but Stevo gave that name to Rob Burrow. So I called him "Speedy Gonzarlez" instead.
Would have liked to see him play this weekend for a send off with Tag. But not to be.
Two massive tries in 2016. The Wembley one will live forever. But the one at Caravan park when we were 20 nil down that set us on the way to two seasons of glory is not to be sniffed at.

The highlight real is unbelievable, in his day, an amazing runner and played a huge part in those two great seasons, including a huge part in the cup wins.
Unfortunately injuries seem to have affected his speed and confidence and he hasn't been the same played the last few years, it's not his fault, but he should have never been offered a contract 3 years ago, neither mind a 3 year deal.
