Looks like last year's success on the pitch has reaped financial rewards with the club posting a profit of £269,574 (2015 was a loss of £73,246). P&L reserve still a very big number with a minus in front of it, but must be some welcome respite for AP.

Very good news and it shows the benefit of a Wembley final. Hopefully continued finals and increased attendances will further improve the club's finances.

Good news BUT if we hadent made Wembley we'd have only just scraped breakeven, which shows theres still work to be done in crowd growth and other income. Pearson has stated they are considering moving offices and retail stores which should help (we dont know if they pay to rent the offices at the KCOM or not)
Also the loss of the derby game will have an impact.

The attendance at last year's home derby was 17,481 which was the lowest since their promotion so although we will take a hit without them lot in Super League it's probably not too significant. Good form should hopefully increase attendances to futher reduce any impact.

yet if we get 1000 more fans for every home game than last season we have made up on the derby loss

Not even that really Get 10 say vs leigh (rovers replacement) then we're only looking for 7 over the year Cats game has already found 2 on its fixture from last year

4k at cas for example is possible. An additional 15% is a big boost
While its a good bonus, not everyone will buy direct from the club, i bought my Wakefield tickets off their website and printed at home, because I can't get to the KCOM midweek to buy tickets.
good move from the RFL though, before they introduced the current 10% rate clubs websites barely even gave Away games a mention apart from the match squads and the score, now their is an incentive for clubs to market away fixtures too.
