I agree with everything said in the article. Where does he blame Gentle? He just says his squad will be better next season than the one he got from Gentle, I have to agree.

I'm no fan if Radford, but you are making a big deal out of a nothing story.

I agree with the OP. AP said this years ago and as the article states "Two years on, 10 of the 17-man team who took the field that day no longer play for FC" so he's already got his own team, not Gentle's.
What will the excuse be next year, "It's almost my squad but we've still 2-3 players left over from the previous regime".
I'm no Radford hater but I'm sick to the stomach of this kind of jam tomorrow BS the club seems to put out all the time.

So Radfords job is under threat if results don't improve? Good. i think he's right that next year's squad is better than last year's. If we don't do better then he has to go.

I wish people would read the article properly, there are no excuses or blaming gentle in that article from Radford or Pearson.

Scraping in to the top 8 this year, should not have been tolerated, never mind next year.

Gentle and their team had many faults, and he wasn't the answer. But this picture that the club keeps trying to build that Radford inherited a disaster of a squad and has had to start from nothing is simply a myth. The team would not have finished 6th if they were that hopeless. The team he got was much better than the one Gentle inherited of Agar for starters. And let's not forget Radford was assistant to Gentle anyway!

I agree with him, recruitment overall was poor under Gentle and McRae, as it stands now Gentle was the better coach, just a shame we can't seem to get the right balance in a coach.

I still hope next season Radford proves me and others wrong.
