Anyone shed any light on what he was talking about when he said we'd be really good when we get these strike players back. He then went on to talk about ellis and green but I presume they weren't the ones he meant. Do we have some strike players who they've been hiding from us? Anyway, looking forward to seeing them.
Also not sure about his comments re them having £150k more salary cap on the field than us unless kevin locke is on about £750k

I listened in disbelief as I drove home. The three big names missing tonight were Ellis, Westerman and Paea. Green, Bowden, Hadley are just squad players.
Couldn't believe it when he compared us with Leeds.

Was a bit strange.
Fair to say the pressure's getting to him and he feels the relentless negativity from the fans is partially unjustified. Next three weeks will dictate plenty IMO.

Well, at least one of Green/Bowden play in our first choice 17. I think the Leeds comparison was more that we try to put on a similar play but aren't as good at it rather than suggesting we're of their calibre. I think.

Yes but they're not strike players who make a deal of difference to our attacking threat.

He said it was Rovers best ever team in SL and we are above them. He's right on both counts but it doesn't change the fact that our performance tonight was nowhere near good enough. We got 2 valuable points but that's all.
