12,002 there tonight, only slightly down on the 12,328 the same fixture got last year with only a small away following (understandable given the state of the M62 over the Pennines with those roadworks)
so it looks as though the fears about pass sales, and no cash turnstyles haven't materialised. Some commented that there were queues outside the ground near kickoff, but the ground seemed to fill up at the same rate it always does, and the club have put more than enough notices out to remind fans to get there a bit earlier.

Exciting game too, shame about the result but we were competitive. Hope they come back for the Leeds game, shame its a thursday night Sky game but Leeds still should bring a few more.
We got there about seven-ish. Queues at the turnstiles but nothing major. By the time we'd been to the shop we more or less walked straight in. No problems whatsoever despite the concerns of some hand-wringers on here.
Pretty happy with the attendance 12,000 is very respectable.

I would imagine that almost the entire crowd at Old Trafford has season tickets, and even away fans buy tickets in advance because they sell out, nobody is paying on the day or queuing at the ticket office to buy a ticket which is what holds the queues up.
