Hope it's ok to start a new thread for coming season as a few of the Faithful are avid followers.

Alas Sheldon seems to have gone missing in action with our incite and latest comings and goings from Down Under?

Anyways, Auckland Nines live action gets underway later this evening.
Plumping for the NZW being captained by the mercurial Shaun Johnson.

The 9's were fantastic last year, is Fittler playing this year?

Like you I fancy the NZ Warriors.

Be interesting to see how the Broncos go this year with Bennett back, although he doesn't have Lockyer this time round.
Think Manly will win the comp this year, Queensland to regain SOO & my mighty GC Titans to finish dead last.

I'm going for the full 16 hour live coverage over the next couple of days.
As long as i'm up for Channel 4 Racing tomorrow afty.

Just been to supermarket for weekend provisions so I don't have to move from my mattress and big screen.

This just sprang to mind while watching the first game but the RFL are wanting to do a fixture in London to promote Rugby League, what about a Nines tournament for the SL teams? It might be something worth doing.

Refs keep cocking up and shouting ''6 more'' when it's only 5. :lol:
